Celebrating Work Life

Last week we asked Jerzy, who is celebrating 25 years in the company, some interesting questions regarding his work in AGroup. But there are more work anniversaries in AGroup this year and we really want to know what has been keeping these employees in the company for so long and how they will sum up their journey.

Michał Kruk, 10-year work anniversary:

What has been keeping you in the company for so long?

Let’s start from the beginning. This is actually my first ‘serious’ job in my life, as a fresh graduate. I got a chance to work despite my lack of experience, for which I am still grateful. I like challenges and solving problems, so working here I feel fulfilled. From the very beginning I worked with the support of our clients, which is on the one hand a challenge, and on the other an interesting experience because there are no identical cases to solve, and it constantly forces me to develop. In addition to solving reported cases, I also get great satisfaction from the implemented systems. In fact, parameterization, building a system for the client brings with it a lot of responsibility and satisfaction. I treat such a system like my child, I have to take care of it, then both I and the client are happy.

First of all, the work is not boring. It often happens that the priority of the issue changes and you have to switch quickly from one topic to a completely different one. It seems tiring, but it motivates you to act. Something is constantly happening – you must help someone, replace someone, quickly find a solution, etc. It cannot get boring.

I cannot fail to mention our entire team. We are an international company, but despite cultural, linguistic and territorial differences, we are simply a close-knit group. Joint trips, meetings, and sometimes even slight arguments have made each of us feel like we are in a second family. I have always been able to count on any help from my more experienced colleagues and still can. Of course, such help works both ways. I value this family atmosphere and the opportunities for continuous development in this job. I hope that the next (at least) 10 years will also pass as before.

How would you sum up your journey this far?

A lot has happened in these 10 years. Both ups and downs, stressful and relaxing moments. But despite the storms, I always managed to reach the shore safely.

I managed to gain a lot of knowledge and experience. I am talking about substantive and technical knowledge. Every problem I have encountered, every case that I have had the pleasure of solving has left and still leaves a part of me that has permanently etched itself in my memory. Facing all these challenges is still incredibly motivating for me to act and learn new solutions.

To sum up: my journey with AGroup is still an extraordinary adventure. Very satisfying, very interesting and motivating. And like every good adventure, mine too, takes place in good company!

Laura Bula, 5-year work anniversary:

What charges me the most is the cooperation with customers and AGroup colleagues on understanding customer needs, seeking solutions, understanding the puzzle of how today’s actions will impact results in 6 months. It is like a fun competition with my salve: To predict risks, plan and detect needs even more precisely with each implementation.
This has been a great transformation from HR management to IT project management – loving it – Thank you all for being there for me every step of the way.
