Objective
Looking into the future in 2017 ADP identified a need for a web-based application. Another objective for them was to extend scope of service to new users’ groups on top of HR professionals.
Solution
The solution: self-service. Each one within an organisation can input/edit data in an own profile (ex. a bank account number, birth of a child), put an HR related request (ex. holiday, day-off on immediate request), manage time schedule or delegate responsibilities. Through HRB Portal we managed to achieve our goals and add products to our offering. The offer was then extended to both managers and employees as new users.
Benefits
- Process efficiency – key factor for organisations with distributed structures, they gain time and money savings.
- Centralisation – in large organisations no need for HR function in numerous locations.
- Easiness of use – user friendly software allows to complete tasks by a system guidance and with a complete assurance of labor law dependencies.
- Cost optimalisation – less work circulation and guarantee of being compliant with law regulations, thus unnecessary fees or fines are eliminated.
Conclusion
By identifying the need for a web-based application and expanding services beyond HR professionals, ADP successfully introduced self-service capabilities through HRB Portal. This innovation streamlined HR processes, empowered employees and managers, and enhanced overall efficiency.
With benefits like process automation, centralisation, ease of use, and cost optimisation, organisations now save time and reduce compliance risks. As ADP continues to anticipate workplace needs, its commitment to innovation and world-class service ensures businesses stay agile and competitive in an evolving HR landscape.
